Longtime Van Wert County Hospital Volunteer Recognized

Red Cross Volunteer Coordinator Dottie Stahl Presented with Board Resolution

VAN WERT, OHIO –The Van Wert County Hospital Board of Trustees presented longtime volunteer Dottie Stahl with a board resolution acknowledging her years of services on behalf of the hospital. Stahl retired in July after serving as the hospital’s Red Cross Volunteer Coordinator for more than 20 years.

“The board wholeheartedly thanks Dottie for her commitment to the hospital,” stated Jon Bagley, board chairman. “It is an honor and a privilege to present Dottie with this resolution. She has touched the lives of so many here at the hospital.”

During the presentation, Stahl shared that what began as a 3 month commitment to the hospital turned into 20 years. Since retiring, she has a box full of cards and letters to know her time was well spent.

Mark Minick, Van Wert County Hospital President/CEO said, “one of the greatest tributes to any one person is we are better for knowing you and the hospital is truly better for knowing Dottie Stahl.”
